Guests try a few beats on a practice dholki before the sangeet songs start. Jaipur Event Management sends the stall as a ready kit for weddings, family functions, college fests and corporate lawns. Your own volunteer can run it. This stall is not part of the older 100 DIY stalls list.

How the hour runs

The volunteer lays out Practice dholki and stools and keeps the queue on one side of the table.
Two guests sit, follow the card, and give the seat to the next pair.
The volunteer resets beat card before the next guest steps in.

A cousin, a bridesmaid or a college volunteer can run this stall through the sangeet or mehendi hour. It needs a table, two chairs and a clear queue side.

Space, power and timing

Most setups of the Dholki Practice Corner need a 6 by 6 foot patch, two chairs and shade if the lawn is in the afternoon sun. It does not need a stage. If you want it beside other DIY stalls, leave a walking gap so a lehenga or a uniform is not brushing the table. Share the venue name, the date and whether the ground is grass, marble or a banquet carpet.

Where we set it up

In Jaipur this stall is booked for palace lawns, hotels, farmhouses, society grounds and college campuses in Vaishali Nagar, Mansarovar, Malviya Nagar, C-Scheme, Raja Park, Jagatpura, Sitapura, Tonk Road and Amer Road. The same kit travels to Jodhpur, Udaipur, Kota, Ajmer, Bikaner, Alwar and Jaisalmer when the function is outside Jaipur.
