Gotta Patti Border Stall in Jaipur

A fabric strip gets a gotta-style border from ready ribbon, pressed on with fabric glue. Jaipur Event Management sends the stall as a ready kit for weddings, family functions, college fests and corporate lawns. Your own volunteer can run it. This stall is not part of the older 100 DIY stalls list.

How the hour runs

The volunteer lays out Fabric strips and ribbon and keeps the queue on one side of the table.
The guest lays one straight border and takes the strip home.
The volunteer resets glue before the next guest steps in.

A volunteer follows the sample card. An artisan can be added if you want a live demonstration, and that artist is booked separately.

Space, power and timing

Most setups of the Gotta Patti Border Stall need a 6 by 6 foot patch, two chairs and shade if the lawn is in the afternoon sun. It does not need a stage. If you want it beside other DIY stalls, leave a walking gap so a lehenga or a uniform is not brushing the table. Share the venue name, the date and whether the ground is grass, marble or a banquet carpet.

Where we set it up

In Jaipur this stall is booked for palace lawns, hotels, farmhouses, society grounds and college campuses in Vaishali Nagar, Mansarovar, Malviya Nagar, C-Scheme, Raja Park, Jagatpura, Sitapura, Tonk Road and Amer Road. The same kit travels to Jodhpur, Udaipur, Kota, Ajmer, Bikaner, Alwar and Jaisalmer when the function is outside Jaipur.
