Fresh flowers are sorted into two varmala strands before the couple exchanges them. Jaipur Event Management sends the stall as a ready kit for weddings, family functions, college fests and corporate lawns. Your own volunteer can run it. This stall is not part of the older 100 DIY stalls list.

Jaimala on a stage or mandap in Jaipur, including open lawns at Amer Road and Jagatpura. Use a shaded table, because loose flowers wilt in direct afternoon sun.

How the hour runs

  1. The volunteer lays out Flower trays and thread and keeps the queue on one side of the table.
  2. Helpers sort blooms by colour and hand the finished strands to the couple's siblings.
  3. The volunteer resets scissors before the next guest steps in.

A family member or a wedding volunteer runs this stall. One person can reset it between guests. It sits near the ritual, not on the dance floor.

Space, power and timing

Most setups of the Jaimala Flower Sorting Stall need a 6 by 6 foot patch, two chairs and shade if the lawn is in the afternoon sun. It does not need a stage. If you want it beside other DIY stalls, leave a walking gap so a lehenga or a uniform is not brushing the table. Share the venue name, the date and whether the ground is grass, marble or a banquet carpet.
